Short stories and music combine to make a perfect Saturday night gig. Manzu Islam, Courtia Newland and Sophie Woolley perform stories from the global village - taking in a diversion to cyberspace and the future - blended with original music by Indo-jazz composer Arun Ghosh. Manzu Islam's cross cultural background (Spitalfields via Bangladesh) infuses his work Courtia Newland tells stories of the Black British experience in surreal and compelling ways Sophie Woolley, writer turned actress, is appearing in a Channel 4 comedy series later this year Arun Ghosh is a British-Asian clarinettist, composer and music educator.
